Medicaid Therapeutic Day Treatment (MTCC)
MTCC provides developmentally-focused and therapeutic mental health treatment care for young children who have been abused, neglected or are at-risk of maltreatment.
These children have been referred to the program by public health nurses, social workers and TANF. Services are provided in the Upper Yakima area.
The children who attend this program have experienced life in a very harsh way. Using a treatment plan devised by mental health professionals, they are given a chance to grow up feeling safe and able to handle their emotions properly.
